Jason Jones
SENIOR PASTOR of Western Heights
Ministry Role & Responsibility
As the pastor, the Bible defines my role as to dedicate my ministry to the church in three ways. I am to focus on prayer, preaching, and training believers for the work of ministry. So, I lead the church at Western Heights in our vision and focal points of ministry. I also disciple our staff and leaders in the church. Weekly, I am thrilled to be able to preach the Bible to our congregation.
About Me:
I am from Knoxville, Tennessee and graduated from the University of Tennessee. My wife, Erika, and I have been married since 2000 and have two daughters and a son, Mackenzie, Kaitlann, and Knox. I have been preaching since I was 21, and a pastor since 2002. God has allowed me to plant two churches and pastor two others, including Western Heights. I am a history buff, and I love to travel. Our family spends a great deal of time involved in outdoor recreation, soccer, softball, hunting, fishing, and camping.

Favorite Scripture: Philippians 3:8-10
Interesting Fact: My undergraduate degree was in Wildlife and Fisheries Science. So, I still can identify most birds by their call. I also love snakes; catch them all the time! I would have one as a pet if Erika would let me.
